McCoy's work has been featured everywhere from the cover of Time to the National Air and Space Museum.
McCoy's career started in the toy industry when he created "Electronic Battlehip".
From this success he went on to create a number of projects including Marvel Superhero "ROM the Spaceknight".
In 1989 he relocated to Burbank and opened an animation studio.
His first animated project which he wrote and directed won the prestigious Questar Silver Medal in competition with Disney and Universal home video.
The studio also produced a number of animations for music videos and television.
In 1995 he joined Post Group where he set up a motion control stage and directed hundreds of motion control and blue screen effects for music videos and television.
His award winning writing and directing have received praise from Gene Shalit & Stan Lee, and he has developed projects for Acclaim, Disney, DreamWorks, Hasbro, Kenner, Mattel, Mego, Microsoft, Movie Channel, Paramount, Tyco and Virtual World Entertainment.
He holds over a dozen patents in electonic entertainment technology.
