This was developed for Kenner toys (1986). The robot "Tooner" was a tape deck which transmitted to the doll. That way the doll and the robot could talk to each other.
The tape deck also had buttons so the child could select different tracks with different answers / adventures etc.
Kenner decided to do a boys version as well called Bantor and Beeper. We also produced the original audio presentation for Kenner.
