XLR8RZ ANIMATED PILOT ARTWORK

(1990) XLR8RZ was devloped as a toy for TOMY and then became a pilot for a television series.
The storyline was that in the future highways were embedded with superconducting metal which allowed special cars to travel at supersonic speeds.
This allowed criminals to pull off a heist and then disappear.
The storyline revolved around a gang called "The Dragons" run by Doc Wheeler (The guy with the pet rat).
NAVCON was the futuristic police force constantly in conflict with "The Dragons".
